The Seminars:

Seminars are focused for either of two purposes:  1.)  They are the shorter one-topic seminar typically designed as a workshop or breakout.  2.) The longer seminars (typically 4 hours or so) were created to provide in depth high impact training for pastors and church leaders.  Many of these have been designed and presented at district Sunday school conventions, pastor's Leadership Days, and regional organizations.  These also fit the Christian Education or small groups conference. The Resources:

There are two types of materials designed just for the forward looking pastor or church leader.  The small group materials and spiritual formation tools can be combined to provide training and an impact at a new level.  The books focus on either the CareRing system of coordinating small groups with the Sunday school or corporate spirituality.

Speaking and Consulting:

Dr. Slamp is an entertaining and effective communicator.  He has keynoted regional Sunday school conferences as well as local church and district conventions.  Click on Consulting in the Speaking Ministry tab.

     Dave is also a qualified consultant in leadership, small groups, discipleship, spiritual formation, and Sunday school. He has consulted congregations in Oklahoma, Oregon, Maryland, Texas, Washington, and Kansas. 

     He is available for either short or long term consultation.  He is experienced in both Sunday school and small group consulting.  He has coached dozens of pastors in spiritual formation and in leading congregations in corporate spirituality.  His specialty is assisting churches with Sunday schools to extend their discipleship ministry into members' homes with CareRing small groups.
